Simon Web Studio is a technology and professional services company based in Pennsylvania. We offer web design and development, website hosting, immigration form preparation, and tax preparation. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Simon Web Studio, and "you" means the person or business using our services.
These terms apply when you use this website or create an account with us. Individual pieces of work are also governed by the written proposal or service agreement we send you for that job. Where a signed service agreement and these terms disagree, the service agreement takes priority for that job.
We are not a law firm and we are not attorneys. No one at Simon Web Studio is an attorney or a representative accredited by the Department of Justice.
We prepare immigration forms using only the information you give us. That is the whole of the service. Specifically, we do not and cannot:
You decide which forms you want prepared. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for reviewing everything before it is filed. If you need legal advice, please speak with a licensed immigration attorney or an accredited representative. We are glad to work alongside one.
We prepare tax returns based on the information and documents you provide. You are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of that information. We do not audit or independently verify what you give us.
You should review your return before it is filed and you remain responsible for its contents. We do not guarantee any particular refund, outcome, or tax position. Tax law is complex and changes often, and reasonable positions can still be questioned by a tax authority.
The specific work, timeline, and price for a website project are set out in the proposal for that project. Unless your proposal says otherwise:
We aim to keep hosted sites available and running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages, and events outside our control can cause downtime.
You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has gained access to it. You must give accurate information when you register and keep it current.
Invoices are due by the date shown on them. Some work requires a deposit before we begin. We may pause work on overdue accounts after telling you first. Prices are quoted in US dollars.
Where sales tax applies under Pennsylvania law, it is shown as a separate line on your invoice.
You may stop work at any time by telling us in writing. You remain responsible for work already carried out up to that point. Deposits cover work that has already begun and are generally not refundable, though we will always deal with this fairly and in good faith.
We do our work with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim connected to a piece of work is limited to the amount you paid us for that work.
We are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Significant changes affecting existing customers will be sent to you by email.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form on this website.
